The Time Has Come!

This blog has been created to give voice to likeminded Conservatives across this great nation. Recent national political events do not engender faith in the Republican Party, rather, these events have served only to propel selfish politicians down a path not traveled by faithful American constituents. It is both saddening and maddening, to realize that we, the true "backbone" of America, are now the forgotten ones.
Many of us have expressed our opinions, and beliefs seemingly to no avail. Increasingly, it becomes more apparent that those in whom we placed our trust and faith, are drawn to positions which would protect only their elected positions, and not faithfully reflect our concerns for our country. This must not be allowed to become "status quo". I believe there is no sense of quitting in positing that perhaps the time has come to rethink the idea of a third political party. As Conservatives, we must often hope that our elected officials mirror our values, and our hopes. Far too frequently, we have had to settle for so much less. Radio personalities tell us constantly that the Devil we know is better, and safer than the one we know not. It is precisely that kind of thinking that eats at the core fabric of Reagan Conservatism.
Surely, there are hundreds of thousands of us who can, when unified in purpose, send a message of command to those who would represent us, and a message of hope for a brighter future to each other. I invite your comments and suggestions for all to share.
